Dear members,
It is with immense delight that we announce the appointment of Don Casemore as General Manager of our organization. Don brings over two decades of invaluable business experience and a diverse set of skills that will help propel Gosfield towards a successful future. Some of these skills include strategic business planning, marketing, project management, workforce planning, and human resources.
The board's vision was to secure a leader with solid business acumen to enhance Gosfield's competitiveness and promote data-driven decision making. The Cooperative has been lacking a clear strategy, proper budgets, and policies. It's time to change that. We believe that with Don's expertise and leadership, Gosfield is poised for growth and success.
A recent transplant to the Cottam community who relocated from the Hamilton region last summer, Don is enthusiastic about the challenges ahead and eager to contribute to Gosfield's success. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Don as a valued member of the Gosfield North family.
The board also wishes to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of some key staff members during this transitional period. Karen Will, Matt Simard, and Dan Tremblay have demonstrated their unwavering commitment to Gosfield and have consistently gone above and beyond to support and embrace new challenges. We are grateful for their contributions and are confident that their efforts will continue to be instrumental in Gosfield's growth and success.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the annual general meeting on March 28th at Cottam United Church. Doors open at 6:30pm and the meeting will begin at 7:00pm.
