As we embark on our renewed vision and the next chapter in our co-operative's journey, the Board of Directors would like to take a moment to emphasize the significance of our collective endeavors. We take immense pride and profound gratitude in reflecting upon the 116-year history of Gosfield North Communications, an institution that has been instrumental in serving our community since its establishment in 1907.
Gosfield North Communications, a pioneer of progress and connectivity, predates CBC by 25 years and Canada's first geostationary satellite by 65 years! From humble beginnings, we've endured, adapted, andthrived, remaining a steadfast presence in this community.
The Board of Directors is actively pursuing a vision for change, aiming to redirect and refocus the cooperative. While you may have already noticed some of the changes, our work is not yet complete. Our goal is to enhance Gosfield's position within the community and establish a solid foundation for the co-operative, ensuring its flourishing presence in serving our community for generations to come.
Our primary objectives encompass several key goals. Firstly, we aim to provide all our customers with access to fibre optic connectivity. By expanding this technology, we seek to enhance the overall internet experience and promote digital inclusion within our community. Secondly, we are committed to improving community involvement. We recognize the value of collaboration and active participation, and our efforts are focused on fostering a sense of unity and engagement among community members. Additionally, we strive to increase financial accountability, ensuring transparency and responsible management of resources. Lastly, we aim to enhance awareness of our co-operative and encourage community involvement. We aspire to establish a stronger connection with our community and promote a shared commitment to our cooperative's mission.
Our endeavor is driven by an exceptional team of dedicated, committed, and talented individuals who also happen to be your friends, neighbours, and relatives. Their passion and unwavering commitment are the heart and soul of our efforts, and together, we strive to make a meaningful impact on our community.
