This year saw us complete our ambitious SILEC fibre upgrade project a year ahead of schedule and $750,000 under budget. Nearly 50 km of fibre cable now delivers cutting-edge connectivity to our community, including over 100 additional homes beyond our original plan. This success is a direct reflection of efficient planning and the dedication of our local team—your neighbours and family.
Looking ahead, we’ve announced plans to amalgamate with Quadro Communications Co-operative, aligning two strong organizations with shared values and a focus on delivering exceptional service. Members will vote on this important decision at a Special General Meeting on December 2, 2024, at Cottam United Church (registration at 6:00 PM, meeting at 7:00 PM). Your voice is crucial as we shape the future of our co-operative.
